Pengelolaan kelas di sekolah inklusif
Abstract
Various needs of children in inclusive classrooms have an impact on adjustments in terms of curriculum, educational facilities and infrastructure, classroom environment arrangement, and social interaction among students in the class. In addition, the educational background and teachers’ understanding of children with special needs and inclusive education are important factors in managing the classroom to provide optimal services for children with special needs in inclusive settings. The design used in this study is a case study. The reason for using a case study is that this strategy tends to be more open in obtaining a comprehensive understanding when examining the object being studied. The conclusion of this study indicates that, basically, the teachers’ understanding in the inclusive school is still considered insufficient. Therefore, the researcher finds it necessary to recommend that classroom teachers be given further training related to their understanding of classroom management.
