Abstract

This study aims to formulate a model of Adaptive Change Management and Digital Literacy for Islamic Education (PAI) Kindergarten teachers in Bandung Regency to support the vision of BEDAS Society (Bangkit, Edukatif, Dinamis, Agamis, Sejahtera — Rise, Educative, Dynamic, Religious, and Prosperous). The study was motivated by the low level of digital literacy readiness among Islamic teachers and the need for a value-based, community-driven transformation model. A qualitative descriptive-analytical approach was employed using a case study design within the Forum Komunikasi Guru PAI (FKGPAI-TK) network. Data were collected from 30 teachers through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, & Saldaña’s (2014) framework, involving data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, followed by source and method triangulation for validation.The findings indicate that FKGPAI-TK successfully implemented a community-based change management system aligned with Kotter’s (1996) eight-step change model, established the integration of technology, pedagogy, content, and religious values through the TPACK-R (Religious Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) framework, and reinforced digital ethics grounded in Digital Citizenship Theory (Ribble, 2015). Together, these approaches fostered a collaborative, innovative, and ethical culture among PAI Kindergarten teachers. This study proposes a conceptual model named Community-Based Adaptive Change Management (MPLDA), integrating structural, pedagogical, and ethical-spiritual transformations to realize the BEDAS vision. The model highlights that successful digital transformation in Islamic education requires synergy between value-driven change management, reflective digital literacy, and collaborative spiritual leadership.Keywords: Change Management, Adaptive Digital Literacy, Islamic Education Teachers, TPACK-R, Digital Citizenship, BEDAS Vision
