This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of internship programs in increasing career development motivation among students. Internship programs provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience and develop competencies needed in the world of work. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey of students who have participated in the internship program at the State Islamic University of Malang. The research participants numbered 40 students. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of two parts: (1) respondent demographic data and (2) career development motivation scale. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that the internship program had a positive and significant influence on students' career development motivation (β = 0.642; p < 0.01). This finding aligns with previous research showing that internship experiences can improve students' self-efficacy and understanding of the world of work. Furthermore, mentor support during the internship program plays a crucial role in enhancing student motivation. This study concludes that internship programs must be well-designed to provide valuable experiences that can motivate students in planning and developing their careers after graduation. Therefore, educational institutions need to ensure that their internship programs meet the needs of the workplace and support students' career development.
