Career readiness is a crucial element for final-year students to face the challenges of the complex world of work. The high unemployment rate among college graduates indicates a gap between the needs of the workforce and graduate readiness. This study aims to analyze career maturity factors that influence final-year students' career readiness, including life values, academic experience, efforts to expand knowledge, awareness of talents, career interests, and physical condition. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study of three final-year students who were interviewed in-depth. Data analysis uses discourse analysis techniques to examine the interconnectedness in texts or conversations. The results of this study indicate that students' career readiness is significantly influenced by career maturity, which encompasses the flexibility of life values, practical experience, and the exploration of talents and interests through real-life experiences. Career maturity not only enhances technical skills but also strengthens emotional and mental readiness for the world of work. This study provides a novel contribution to career maturity theory by highlighting the importance of experiential learning and the flexibility of life values in preparing students for the world of work. Therefore, universities are advised to provide career development programs that support the exploration of students' life values, talents, and interests through relevant practical experiences.
