This study aims to analyze the influence of self-confidence on entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z in Malang City. The study is motivated by the low rate of entrepreneurship in Indonesia, despite the country currently experiencing a demographic bonus dominated by Generation Z. A quantitative approach was employed, using a correlational design and simple linear regression. A total of 186 Generation Z respondents from Malang City were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using self-confidence and entrepreneurial intention scales and analyzed using simple linear regression in SPSS. The results indicate that self-confidence has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention (B = 0.465; t = 15.032; p < 0.001). The magnitude of the effect (R² = 0.547) reveals that self-confidence accounts for 54.7% of the variance in entrepreneurial intention. These findings demonstrate that higher levels of individual self-confidence are associated with stronger entrepreneurial intentions. The study confirms that self-confidence is a crucial psychological asset for fostering entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z.
