Principal Management in Enhancing Religious Culture at SDI Tarbiyatul Ummah Sidoarjo

This study aims to analyze the principal's management in fostering a religious culture at SDI Tarbiyatul Ummah Sidoarjo and to identify the factors supporting and hindering its implementation. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis, involving the principal, teachers, and records related to the school's religious activities. Data analysis proceeded through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the principal executes management functions through planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. Planning involves formulating religious programs aligned with the school's vision, setting achievement targets, scheduling activities, and preparing supporting facilities. Organizing is carried out by assigning tasks and designating individuals responsible for each activity. Implementation is realized through routines such as Dhuha prayers, morning *dhikr* (remembrance of God), Quranic recitation (*tilawah*), memorization (*tahfidz*), character building, and thematic religious activities. Supervision is conducted through activity monitoring, monthly evaluation meetings, and follow-ups on identified challenges. Supporting factors include the synergy among the school community, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, and commitment to the religious vision. Hindering factors include time constraints, suboptimal parental involvement, and the influence of the surrounding environment and technology.
