This study analyzes the innovation of utilizing pineapple leaf waste as an economically valuable fiber and its contribution to community empowerment and the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at Omah Kreatif Indy, Prabumulih. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and participatory practice. The findings indicate that pineapple leaf waste can be transformed into fiber and handicraft products, such as bags and pouches, through the integration of knowledge, skills, creativity, and innovation. The development of the enterprise also provides opportunities for community empowerment through skills transfer and the involvement of local women in productive activities. In terms of competitiveness, design innovation, product quality, local identity, and the integration of offline and online marketing constitute important elements for expanding market opportunities. These findings demonstrate that Omah Kreatif Indy represents a local resource-based MSME model that integrates creative economy, community empowerment, and circular economy principles. Thus, optimizing pineapple leaf fiber not only generates economic value but also has the potential to strengthen social and ecological values in local economic development in Prabumulih.
