Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga Desa Karanganyar dalam pengolahan udang melalui pelatihan sistem kontrol pengering berbasis mikrokontroler. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah proses pengeringan tradisional yang bergantung pada cuaca dan menghasilkan kualitas produk yang tidak konsisten. Solusi yang diberikan berupa pelatihan penggunaan alat pengering udang yang dilengkapi sensor suhu dan kelembapan untuk menjaga kondisi optimal selama proses pengeringan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, serta evaluasi pemahaman peserta. Sistem ini mampu mengontrol suhu secara otomatis sehingga proses pengeringan menjadi lebih cepat, higienis, dan efisien. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menggunakan teknologi pengering udang. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan nilai jual produk, serta mendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal berbasis potensi perikanan
